DION LEE
As in previous years that accompanied Dion Lee, the relationship to the body is important in the brand DNA. For this collection, I decided to converse this idea by bringing a more primitive ethnic touch; inspired by several artistic movements such as Afrofuturism with JACQUE NJERI. The stuctural lines of this board represent the tailoring aspect that Dion Lee identifies with from the beginning. In this capsule, a relationship of gravity is established through the stones that float in the air, between fluidity and stucture. The man with his back to the sculpture illustrates the sensual skin contact that Dion Lee has made endure. We will also talk about the notion of defending oneself, of protecting oneself, which is observed in the posture of the man. In this capsule, it is important to keep in mind that the body that composes us must be protected, but also put forward by maintaining the sensuality of Dion Lee.
